Welcome to
Jam Raye Agro Holdings Ltd

Who we are

At Jam Raye Agro Holdings Ltd, we drive rural economic stability by professionalizing smallholder agriculture. We partner with women entrepreneurs managing 1–10 acre plots, providing the capital, agronomy support, and market access needed to transform potential yield into measurable, sustainable livelihoods.

About Us

Advancing National Food Security through Women-Led Agribusiness

We target the under-utilized 1–10 acre sector, deploying targeted capital injections, technical capacity building, and secured market access to optimize yield and ensure food security.

Our operations are anchored by a Revolving Impact Model: we strictly reinvest 65% of operational profits to capitalize new partner farms. This ensures a scalable, self-funding cycle of rural economic development that reduces dependency on external aid.

.

Current Status:
Pilot Phase Validation (Kisii Flagship). We are currently stress-testing our operational model at the Kisii hub to ensure scalability. Expansion to Kilifi (Phase 2) will commence upon completion of the Pilot Audit

Founder’s Note: From Diaspora to Direct Impact

I am Raye Julius Nyerere, a Jamaican-Canadian investor leveraging over two decades of North American operational management experience to modernize rural Kenyan agriculture.

In 2022, I conducted an initial market assessment in rural Kenya and identified a systemic failure: high-potential women farmers were stalled not by a lack of skill, but by a lack of liquidity. To test a solution, I executed a micro-pilot: providing tangible assets (livestock and feed) rather than cash aid to a single household.

The results were definitive. Within two years, that initial capital injection yielded a stable, multi-species livestock operation that eliminated the household’s dependency on external aid. That Proof of Concept became the operational blueprint for Jam Raye Agro Holdings Ltd.

Our Operational Model

We formalize partnerships with Kenyan women entrepreneurs who hold title or tenure to 1–10 acres. Our operations are currently anchored by our Pilot Hub in Kisii (7 acres), with Phase II expansion sites secured in Kilifi.

Technical & Capital Injections

  • Genetic Improvement: Introduction of high-yield starter livestock.
  • Biosecurity & Infrastructure: Professional fencing and climate-smart water solutions.
  • Capacity Building: Financial literacy training and standardized digital bookkeeping.
  • Transparent Governance: A clear, contract-based profit-sharing agreement.

The Revolving Impact Fund

We operate on a strict, self-sustaining fiscal mandate:

35% Operational Expenditure (OpEx) Auditing, veterinary oversight, field logistics, and administration.
65% Reinvestment Capital (CapEx) Strictly ring-fenced to capitalize the next partner farm.

Vision 2030

Our objective is to operationalize ten fully commercial, debt-free agribusiness hubs by 2030. We are building a scalable, replicable framework that transforms rural land into an engine for economic independence.

Ground-Level Partnership

Operational Continuity & Technical Extension.
We prioritize active asset management over passive investment. Our field officers execute scheduled site audits to monitor livestock health, infrastructure integrity, and compliance with data protocols. Furthermore, partners maintain access to real-time agronomic support and veterinary consultation via our digital extension network.

This proactive risk mitigation framework minimizes operational variance and ensures asset security. By standardizing best practices across the network, we empower partner farms to meet commercial yield targets and maximize the shared value of the harvest.
